Captain Murillo, based in Northfield, VT, US, is currently (2026) a Marine Officer Instructor at Norwich University.  He was previously the Battalion Communications Officer and Communications Platoon Commander - 1st Battalion, 2d Marines.

After earning his Bachelor of Integrative Studies & Innovation degree with a Concentration in Global & National Security, Captain Murilllo earned a Professional Master of Science in Global & National Security, and is an experienced graduate researcher as well.
